The Liberia Football Association has presented two separate proposals to institutions in the Asian Nation of Qatar.

The Secretary General of the LFA said, the proposals were presented to the Qatari Football Association and a local football club.

Mr. George Williams said the club is Al-Saliaya. Liberia’s Prince Daye plays for the club.

Mr. Williams said the proposal is seeking technical assistance for the LFA.He went to Qatar two weeks ago on a private trip.

Mr. Williams said one of the proposals is to seek the creation of a resource center while the other is to build up the technical ability of referees, coaches and administrators.

The LFA Secretary General said the Qatari FA has agreed in principle but the technical details were to be worked up.

He said the club side of Prince Daye Al-Saliaya would also assist the LFA.

Mr. Williams stated that the team has also planned to give Liberia a big package if Prince Daye could help them reach the first division.

The Liberian international has signed a one-year lucrative contract with the wealthy Qatari club. The contract gives room for extension.
