For 2004 Nations' Cup Qualifiers: MYS, LFA to Ensure Match

      Youth and Sports Minister Max Dennis say the Government of Liberia through the Ministry of Youth and Sports is working feverishly with the Liberia Football Association (LFA) to ensure that the requirements for Liberia 2004 Nations' Cup qualification match with Ethiopia in achieved.

     In an interview with newsmen at his Newport Street offices yesterday, Minister Dennis acknowledged that the budget has already been submitted by the LFA. Adding, "everything will be done to give the budget a realistic appraisal for implementation by Government.

    Speaking further on Lone Star's preparation Minister Dennis disclosed that television rights from the 2002 Nations' Cup in Mali will assist the Lone Star.

     He noted that the high climatic condition in Ethiopia is not in Liberia's favor, and as such everything should be done to adjust to the environment.

    He also said the FA has given full assurance that early contacts have been made with essential professional players for the match.
