At long last, Kadallah Kromah has officially informed the Liberia Football Association (LFA) of his resignation as head of the national soccer team Lone Star.

The Secretary-General of the LFA Yanqueh S. Borsay has been quoted as saying that Kromah turned in his letter of resignation last Wednesday.

Notwithstanding, Borsay disclosed that the LFA Executive Committee would meet to discuss Kromah's resignation.

Frank Jerico Nagbe has also entered the scene.

Kromah was compelled to call it quit after the Lone Star of Liberia went down 3-0 to the Lions of Teranga of Senegal on October 10, 2004 at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports Complex in Paynesville. After all, Senegal had the wherewithal to defeat Liberia in her own background.
Immediately following Senegal's first goal, Liberian soccer fans resulted to violence. The angry fans subsequently ransacked the home of Kromah in Sinkor.

The vandalism stretched to the "No Credit" Spot of LFA President Sombo Izetta's Wesley. In the process, Counsellor Wesley "LFA-2" mercedes was set ablaze while her entertainment center was looted.

The incidence prompted Kromah to seek refuge at the ELWA compound of former LFA President Edwin Snowe. From there, he reportedly announced his resignation while fearing for his safety.
Kromah's resignation leaves a vacancy at the helm of the Lone Star, the team which lies second from bottom in Group One of the 2006 Nations Cup and World qualifying stage with four points from five matches.

Ever since Kromah announced his resignation, the Sports Ministry has yet to address itself on the matter. Sports Minister Wheatonia Dixon-Barnes was with the argument that Kromah that she had not received any communication to that effect.

But with the latest development, the Sports Ministry is being looked upon to fill the vacancy at the national team ahead of its next match in March, 2004.

There are reports of lobbying among the country's well known tacticians. Prominent among those linked to the job are Mighty Barrolle coach David and Mabu Richards, who is the choice of the now former national coach Kadallah Kromah. NPA Anchors coach Frank Jerico Nagbe has also entered the scene.
