Former Mighty Barrolle President Garmondeh

Former Mighty Barrolle President Garmondeh has shunned with
the results of the recent Congress held by the Liberia
Football Association (LFA) in Ganta, Nimba County last
weekend.
In a highly charged mood on Wednesday, Karnga had these
words to express: “We have been in the background and
observing the LFA as stakeholders. While, we hail the (Musa)
Bility administration for the Congress, we want to remind
the LFA about its mistakes.”
According to him, at the just ended Congress, everything
became ‘yes’ after the current Executive Committee was
tampered with by means of accepting US$9,000.00 each for
purchase of vehicles.
“Look at the league with its date being changed now and
then. Nobody has been able to talk,” he added.
The former Mighty Barrolle President said it is yet to be
seen what kind of effort has been made to build the football
academy even though there were already funds available from
world football governing FIFA.
Mr. Karnga opined that the national league’s closing
ceremony is being delayed and, as stated by him, it is an
indication that the LFA is broke.
Following the decision by LFA President Bility to back
Mohammed Bin Hammam for the FIFA presidency, Karnga is with
the view that the local football head chose not to support
the incumbent Joseph Blatter on grounds he was in search of
money.
Karnga: “That shows that we now have problem with WAFU, CAF
and FIFA. We can’t sit and allow football to go that way. I
am not heading any football club now but I am speaking like
a free man and football lover.”
He declared that for the next four years, there is no
possibility of getting any good out of football under Bility
on grounds that stakeholders have already been bought.
Giving reasons for his outbursts, Karnga said as a football
lover, he wants the game to move forward.
“Bility is a businessman and won’t want to go without a
gain. But for his performance, he has scored less than 8%
with no improvement in the league. Indeed, Liberian football
is dying under him. Meanwhile, Presidents of Liberian
football should be men by their words,” Karnga noted.
Also former Executive Committee Member of the LFA, Karnga
made it known that if the stakeholders sit and refuse to
speak out, it will be a clear indication that they are
really bought.
