Karn United Maintains 2nd Spot

    Karn United FC is still second on the division two table in the ongoing National Football League of Liberia.

    The club walked over Logan Town based Sounjata Warriors 1-0 on Saturday at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium (ATS) on Lynch Street.

    Thereafter, Young Survivors defeated Roza 1-0 in a first division showdown at the same venue.
Harbel based Mighty Blue Angels continues to hold on to the second division, with four points over Karn United, following a 5-0 dragging of Zelors on Sunday in Margibi County.

     The same day, at the ATS, Cardinals and the Green Pepper of the Liberia Marketing Association (LMA) ended their match 1-1, while Millennium and Devereux drew 0-0. Haja FC defeated Juventus Olympic 2-0.

     On Friday, St. Joseph Warriors walked over Mighty Electrons 1-0, while on Thursday, there were victories for Cardinals, 1-0, and Barracks Young Controllers (BYC), 3-1, over Millennium and Devereux respectively.

     On Wednesday, June 23, Haja FC whipped St. Joseph Warriors 3-1, while Juventus Olympic acquired the same result over Sounjata Warriors at the ATS.

     The league will continue on Wednesday, June 30, at the ATS with two second division matches involving BYC against Mighty Electrons and Sounjata Warriors versus Zelors.

       On Thursday, July 1, Pro-Anchors Sisters will meet Pointer Sisters in the female division two before Karn United face St. Joseph Warriors.

      As for Friday, July 2, Mighty Electrons will go against LMA Green Pepper, as Sounjata Warriors take on Mighty Blue Angels.

      On Saturday, July 3, Deveruex will host St. Joseph Warriors and BYC against Millennium.
