Karn United Eyes
Knockout Title

The second division side Karn United has vowed to
lift the ongoing knockout championship title.
Karn United owner Samuel Karn and club
President Jacob Bandiyu has tipped their team for the trophy.
They placed their confidence on the team’s
impressive record this season, having failed to lose in both league
and knockout championships.
The team will meet Bassa Defender, which threw
out Alliance FC, on Sunday at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium (ATS) in
the semi final of the competition.
Karn United brushed aside division two
rivals St. Joseph Warriors in the quarter-finals.
The team, which is second on the division two
table, has also eliminated Barracks Young Controllers (BYC) and
Millennium Star.
For the match on Sunday, the likes of top striker
Boakai Foday, stubborn defender Emmanuel Gray and magic hands Sam
Doe are all prepared for the showdown.
Meanwhile, on Saturday LISCR FC will take on
surprise package Zelors in the first semi final match.
Before reaching this stage, Zelors ousted league
champions LPRC Oilers and reigning knockout holder Mighty Blue
Angels.
LISCR FC eliminated the likes of NPA Anchors and
Monrovia Club Breweries
