Jerico Threatened By Poor Results

By Julu M. Johnson, Jr.

The credibility of the NPA Anchors coach Frank Jerico Nagbe has been put to a big test following poor results in recent times.

If there was any, then the NPA Anchors will have to put aside the notion of ruling Liberian soccer this year after failing to win in three consecutive matches.

The port boys were earlier held 0-0 by the Invincible Eleven (IE) before bowing 4-1 to the reigning champions Mighty Barrolle.

The latest dismal performance suffered by the NPA Anchors took place last Friday when they lost 4-2 to fellow newcomers Roots FC at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium (ATS).

The NPA Anchors found it hard to believe their defeat to Roots after the former took a 2-0 lead before the latter turned things around.

The NPA Anchors will now have to put up a very strong fight if they must get back on top of the table as they have LPRC Oilers to meet on July 30, 2005.
