Jasmie Sinks NPA!
-As Barrolle Drops 5th Place

By Roland M. Mulbah

Liberia Football Association (LFA) newly promoted premier outfit Jasmie Rangers sank NPA Anchors 2-1 on Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium (ATS) in continuation of the LFA premiership chase.

The team’s Captain Gus Totimeh scored a brace in the 50th and last three minutes of play to see his side topple Mighty Barrolle and secured 4th place on the 18 teams LFA premier log.

The two goals put the lad among the top goal scorers with three goals.

Meanwhile, the victory for the Rangers means Mighty Barrolle has dropped 5th putting the Rangers at 4th place.

Barrolle could take pole position of the LFA premier league table should the Garmondeh Karnga’s boys secure a 3-0 victory against Margibi County based premier club Mighty Blue Angels on Wednesday, April 8, 2009 in Kakata, Margibi County.
