Liberia Football Association (LFA) newly promoted premier outfit
Jasmie Rangers sank NPA Anchors 2-1 on Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at the
Antoinette Tubman Stadium (ATS) in continuation of the LFA
premiership chase.
The team’s Captain Gus Totimeh scored a brace in the 50th and last
three minutes of play to see his side topple Mighty Barrolle and
secured 4th place on the 18 teams LFA premier log.
The two goals put the lad among the top goal scorers with three
goals.
Meanwhile, the victory for the Rangers means Mighty Barrolle has
dropped 5th putting the Rangers at 4th place.
Barrolle could take pole position of the LFA premier league table
should the Garmondeh Karnga’s boys secure a 3-0 victory against
Margibi County based premier club Mighty Blue Angels on Wednesday,
April 8, 2009 in Kakata, Margibi County.
