Russian top flight side CSKA Moscow Liberian born Nigerian teenage
strike sensation Sekou Jabateh Oliseh in his dream to see many of his
countrymen make gains in the footballing career has recomended three
players, two his childhood friends and his junior brother to his
childhood club Ebedei FC, an amateur league one side playing in the
third tier of Nigerian football.
Ebedei FC is the African academy of Danish Super liga club Midtjylland
FC. This is the club that loaned Jabateh to CSKA Moscow after
impressing in the fold of Ebedei FC. The three players Oilseh has
recommended to the club include Breweries sleek midfielder Marcus
Macauley, robust defender Adama Macauley and Abraham Jabateh, the
junior brother of Sekou Jabateh.
The three players left Liberia on Friday, and with the recommendation
of Jabateh who played a key role in the club's success the three
players could have a touching chance of getting to Denmark if they
impress in Nigeria.
The chairman and manager of Ebedei FC is Churchill Oliseh who is said
to be the uncle of ex-Nigerian international holding midfielder Sunday
Oliseh. Since 2004, The Nigerian club has been been promoting players
to Denmark with defensive midfielder Ajilore Oluwafemi being the
first. Other young players who went to the danish club via Ebedei's
connection include strikers Adeshina lawal and Justice John Erhenede.
Another player was Babajide Collins Babatunde who it was reported was
linked to Italian club Regianna and Premiership side Chelsea.
