Jabateh In Town For Lone Star
-Set To Destroy Zimbabwe

Liberia’s biggest footballer so far, Sekou Jabateh Oliseh, who plies his trade with Russian top flight club, CSKA Moscow, is expected in Monrovia today, Tuesday to boost Liberia’s Lone Star attack as the red, white and blue outfit battles Zimbabwe this Sunday, September 5, 2010 in the 2012 nations cup qualifiers.

The match will be the lad’s debut as he has since snubbed Nigeria, the country of his adapted parents in their quest to have him don the green and white outfit of the Super Eagles.

Jabateh, who is the crowd favorite in Monrovia as far as contemporary football is concerned, is said to be in top spirit to destroy the Warriors at the SKD.

There are reports that his fans will charter buses today to meet the rising star at the Robert International Airport.

Though it is not yet known which number the master dribbler will wear for Lone Star, but there are reports that his fans have already started printing T-shirts with the famous #10 of former nation’s most celebrated star, James Salinsa Debbah.

Meanwhile, eight professionals arrived in Monrovia on Monday for Sunday’s clash.

They include defenders George Baysah of Hapoel Kfar Saba of Israel, Alex Karmo of Kenyan top side Stima FC, Jimmy Dixon of Manisaspor of Turkey, midfielders Dulee Johnson of AIK Solna of Sweden, Theo Weeks of Ankanragucu of Turkey, Patrick Doeplah (Free Agent in Budapest) and David Ghemie, a Free Agent, Dioh Williams of FC Alania Vladikavkaz of Russia (on loan from AGF of Denmark and newly crowned Captain and forward Anthony Snoti Laffor Super Sport United of South Africa.

The last professionals will be in Monrovia on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week.
