Israelis put high price on Dulee
Maccabi Tel Aviv wants to be rid of Dulee Johnson and is now rumored
that midfield is on the way to AIK. But it promises to be a more
expensive business than the figure of 1.5 million mentioned earlier.
- Club wants 1.2 million dollars, says Quriel Daskal, sports editor
of the newspaper Globe.
Johnson, who is on holiday with his family in Sweden, has fallen
short of expectations. The club's owner Alex Schneider who is tired of
pumping money could also be a reason why he want to sell Johnson.
- Dulee have been too weak and does not add anything, "says Daskal.
In Johnson's own website he says about how well they are doing. We laugh at home
because that does not correspond to reality, says Daskal.
The former AIK-midfield Dulee Johnson could be headed back to
Stockholm club again. Israeli television indicated that the club has
already made it clear to Johnson.
It is pure speculation. We close no doors, but otherwise I have no
comment, "said AIK's sports Björn Wesström to eurosport.se.
Johnson's last time in the club blacken he was arrested for
drunk driving, a crime which he was acquitted of the Svea Court of
Appeal. Wesström think we may take such things into account if
Johnson would be timely for the "Gnaget" again.
- Everything is a global assessment. There is an assessment of what
it is worth and what can cost in the form of money and commitment.
Sometimes it will be wrong and then Alvaro Santos damaged or Daniel
Mobaek driving drunk. Being aware of a player's history makes it
easier, "says Wesström.
What is AIK's recruitment needs of the whole?
- We are wonderfully happy with the squad we have today. We are
generally very happy.

break in court proceedings.
AIK's sports Björn Wesströms standard states that "AIK always
interested in good players." He asked if he will meet with Johnson.
We have not booked any time, "says Wesström.
