Inter-University Games Begin

An Inter-University Basketball
Championship will start on Tuesday, November 23, 2004 at the Sports
Commission on Broad Street.
In game one, Don Bosco Polytechnic will meet the African Methodist
Episcopal University (AMEU), while University of Liberia (UL) will
engage United Methodist University (UMU) in the match to follow.
The festival will continue on Wednesday with UL facing AMEU in game
one as UMU subsequently battle Don Bosco Polytechnic.
On Thursday, Don Bosco will take on UL as AMEU does the same against
UMU.
The grand final will be on Friday with the best two teams (with the
highest points) emerging from the preliminaries.
The tournament has been organized by the Trojans Social and Athletic
Club, a student based social club of the University of Liberia. The
tournament is named in honor of the former Liberia Football
Association (LFA) president Edwin M. Snowe, now Managing Director of
the Liberia Petroleum Refining Company (LPRC).
