Invincible Eleven has continued her disappointing start to the LFA
2009 Premier league season.
The sun shine yellow boys forced lowly rated USA Invaders to a 2 all
draw Thursday afternoon at the refurbished Antoinette Tubman
Stadium.
Joseph Broh put USA up 6 minutes into the match before getting the
second 13 minutes later.
Joseph Hinneh pulled one back for IE in the 26th minutes after
heading in a Kpayan Doe’s close range volley.
IE looked dominant for the rest of the second half and created some
exciting moments during the match.
Joseph Hinneh got the double for IE just 5 minutes from time to hand
his side another draw.
In Thursday’s other matches, UMC Roots played Defending Champions
Black Star FC to an embarrassing goalless draw at the Unification
Town Sports pitch in Margibi County.
Also in Margibi, Monrovia Club Breweries pained Joe Nagbe’s FC AK
Liberia 1-0.
The league will continue today with one match taking place.
Gedi & Sons FC will take on Wantaga FC at the Antoinette Tubman
Stadium.
