Liberia’s two traditional soccer rivals have announced plans to hold a nationwide tour.

The teams are collaborating to reawaken their branches in 10 of Liberia’s 15 counties.

The Vice President for Operations of Mighty Barrolle told Star Radio a memorandum of understanding on the successful hosting of the tour would be signed by the weekend.

Mr. Othello Siaty said they intend to play a friendly match in each of the ten counties they have planned to visit.

He said Invincible Eleven and Mighty Barrolle would begin the tour of the counties on November 5.

The teams will play the first in a series of friendly matches at the Harbel Sports Stadium.

The Barrolle official said the tour would end next February.

Mr.Siaty said both clubs would provide finances for the tour and that they would spread

messages of peace and reconciliation through football in the counties.

He has called on fans of the two clubs around the country to get ready to receive their teams.

Invincible Eleven and Mighty Barrolle have targeted Margibi, Nimba, Grand Gedeh, Bomi, Bong,

Grand Bassa, Grand Cape Mount, Lofa and Gbarpolu counties.
