          IE keeper makes daring save

June 15, 2004-Invincible Eleven (IE) is topping the 2004 National Football Premier League taking place at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium (ATS) on Lynch Street.

At least six clubs in the Premier League were involved in the weekend's actions at the ATS, with IE being one of them.

LISCR FC held the Yellow Boys, who will soon be taken over by Honorable Isaac Nyenabo, Comptroller of the Ministry of Finance, 1-1.

IE was hoping for a victory in order to accumulate twelve points after the Liberia Football Association (LFA) decided to award three points to the Sunshine Yellow Boys whose match with archrivals Mighty Barrolle was disrupted by angry fans who were protesting the expulsion of Solomon Grimes when the two sides met on May 30, 2004 at the ATS.

After IE took the lead, LISCR, which has proven to be a hard nut to crack, fought hard and grabbed the equalizer.

However, The Sunshine Yellow Boys lead the Premier League with 10 points, while LISCR FC and Mighty Barrolle are trailing with 10 points each.

On Friday, reigning champions LPRC Oilers lost to Alliance FC in the day's only match. The Oilers have acquired most of the country's best talents this season but they have found it difficult in finding victory.

Most of Oilers' previous matches ended in draws and one loss to Mighty Barrolle unless for three points that were waved to them as a result of IE's failure to appear.
During Friday's encounter, both Oilers and Alliance played the match without a score until the dying minute when the latter stole the show.

The next game saw Mighty Barrolle, led by Fredrick Vah, outclassing Shoes FC on Saturday.

With Nine points from four matches, the Rollers are back on course after losing one match to Monrovia Club Breweries as well as the LFA's decision to take three points from them due to their fans' violent attitude shown against IE.
