The president of Invincible Eleven (IE) Isaac Nyenabo is worried because his ascendancy has not yet been blessed by the Liberia Football Association (LFA).

Mr. Nyenabo said the delay is a result of the failure of the IE Board to notify the LFA, the soccer governing body.

"The Board has already appointed me on July 9 but the connection between the FA and the Board is unknown," Nyenabo claimed.

The current situation, according to the IE president, has created a rocky process in achieving some of the short range plans.

"We have found it difficult as to when the Board will inform the LFA about our appointment," lamented the IE president.

"The LFA has written that the Board is yet to write them. As a result, all of our effort is not recognized."

Nyenabo, notwithstanding, has his own solution to the problem. "Our next intention is to call the FA and the IE executive committee and have our own elections."

As if the delay in sending Nyenabo's name to the LFA has political undertone, the new IE boss declared: "we have consistently informed the Liberian people that there must be a demarcation between sports and politics."

Nyenabo said his ascendancy has not gone down well with some political gurus "who want sports to ascend to power."

The IE president did not give names of those referred to as "political gurus" yet it is believed that presidential aspirant Varney Sherman is one of them, reason being that the Counselor had initial tried to take over IE before Nyenabo stole the show.

The current bond of friendship existing between Cllr. Sherman and the Acting Board Chairman of IE, Willard Russell, could largely be attributed to the delay in officially crowning Nyenabo as head of the Sunshine Yellow Boys.

He warned, "during our tenure, we will make sure that IE is removed from politics."

Nyenabo, meanwhile, said, "people only sit on the side and say IE, but they are not working. We find it difficult to proceed." The IE boss, therefore, revealed plans to open sell shares in the team.

Nyenabo then took on those who made pledges and took tickets during the September 5, 2004 IE Ball. "What you say is your visa. Every individual must make good his pledge."

Nyenabo disclosed that IE has been offered a place in the CAF Confederation Cup following the withdrawal of LISCR FC. "If I am recognized, I will have no problem with IE's participation," Nyenabo indicated.
