I.E.
Officials On Rescue Mission
June 14, 2006
The Invincible Eleven Majestic Sports Association (IEMSA) is said to
be campaigning for support ahead of the second phase of the Liberia
Football Association (LFA) championship league.
At a meeting held recently at the Wells Hairston High School on
Minchin Street, the team's acting President Harris Sheriff
highlighted the many problems that the team is facing now.
According to him the team has been run by the mercy of God, adding
that only few people who have the association at heart come around
to identify with the team He noted that the second of the FA first
division league was crucial for the team and as such it was
important that all fans joined the present administration "if we are
to see the team move back to the Premiership division." At the same
time the I.E boss has constituted several committees, and appointed
former Clara Town Chapter Charles Bodoe as Chairman of the
Monsterrado Chapter of the association.
The Monsterrado Chapter branch is the life blood of the association
and the appointment of Mr. Bodoe has been seen as a major challenge
for the former Clara Town Chairman Chapter head.
Reports gathered say Mr. Bodoe, who reportedly has begun his new
assignment, is now processing membership cards for members of the
association's arm and raising fund for the team ahead of the second
phase.
