Reported by Horatio Bobby Willie

The House of Representative has approved a national sports budget

The budget was approved Friday when the house passed the national budget. House standing committee chairman on Sports Thomas Fallah told Star Radio the house approved three hundred thousand United States dollars.

Mr.Fallah said the money exclude the amount allocated for the Sports Ministry.
He said a large percentage of the amount would go toward the support of the national football team, the Lone Star.

Mr.Fallah said allotments were also made for other sporting federations including the Liberia National Olympic Committee.

He said no subtraction or addition was made during the budget deliberation in the house. The budget is now being forwarded to the senate for concurrence.
