What could be a gorgeous deal to
see Liberian players showcase their talents in Europe, most
especially Israel is looming with reports that some Israeli scouts
are expected to visit Liberia Football Association (LFA) premier
club, LISCR FC.
In an interview with LISCR boss
Mr. Mustapha I. Raji, he confirmed to liberiansoccer.com that some
scouts are expected in Liberia for 10 days to see some players of
LISCR FC, but the sports administrator was quick to clarify that the
deal will not only be limited to players of LISCR FC since there are
other better players in the LFA premiership.
“We have received confirmation
from one of our contacts who will be arriving in Liberia for ten
days visit to see some players of LISCR F C; but our scope is not to
limit the opportunity since there are other players far better then
some players at LISCR F C in the Liberian top flight.
“The opportunity is going to be
open to all Liberian players to prove themselves and not players of
LISCF FC alone.
“Our responsibility is to seek
for opportunity and open the doors, the players responsibility is to
display the talents they have.
“Our dream from the inception
had been to make big difference in Liberian football, not just
signing players and making false commitments, but to prepare them
for a professional setting that all Liberians will benefit from.
“Indeed it is an extremely
difficult situation, but with the vision we have, LISCR F C will
bring a brighter future to all Liberians players, the former LFA
Executive Committee (EC) member on marketing and media noted
There are speculations that Mr.
Raji is expected to spend not less than US$10, 000.00 for the
venture, but the ardent follower of the world popular sport said
“I do not think the financial
aspect is important for now, just note that nothing good comes so
cheap.
“I am still arranging with the
Ministry of Youth and Sports (MYS) to grant us the use of the Samuel
Kanyan Doe (SKD) sports complex for the 10 days our scouts will stay
here,” the LISCR boss noted.
Many have hailed Mr. Raji and

secure profession football contract in Europe.
