Lone Star striker Francis Grandpa Doe has announced
the misplacement of his passport by a member of the
technical staff.
Francis Doe told Star Radio he stands the risk of
loosing his contract if he does not get the passport.
Doe said he was frustrated about the situation and do
not know hat to do and said DC United could not
guarantee him getting a new visa at their expense.
The passport is carrying the player’s American Visa,
European visa as well as resident permit.
Doe’s passport was reportedly left behind after he did
not make the trip to Algeria.
The striker accused some football authorities of not
showing interest in him getting an American visa.
“They promised to settle the matter right after the
Senegal game but up to today (Wednesday) they have
said noting to me”, Doe said.
The player is appealing to President Ellen Johnson
Sirleaf to intervene in the matter so that he can get
an American visa to return to his club.
