Gedi wins friendly

First division champions Gedi &Sons have beaten the county team of Lower Margibi County in a friendly football game.


Gedi &Sons put up a brilliant display to win the match 3-1.

Cooper Devine opened the score for Gedi from a penalty kick in the first half.

The LFA First Division champions sealed the win with goals from Tarley Garwo and Patrick Gborie.

The game was played at the Unification Town Sports Pitch.

Gedi &Sons are to travel Buchanan this weekend to face the county team.

The counties are using the friendlies to prepare for the national County Meet.
