Gedi & Sons have won the Liberia Football Association first division league.

The club won the league Wednesday afternoon after Mighty Blue Angels held them to a 0-0 draw.

The game was played at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium and was filled with thrills and exciting moments.

The draw gave Gedi &Sons 24 points and also ensured their qualification to the premier league.

Mighty Blue Angels have also qualified for the premier league.


Blue Angels finished 2nd on the table with 23 points.

Wednesday’s result has ended Invincible Eleven dream of returning to the premier league.

IE will have to play another season in the first division. Elsewhere in the league, Tito United beat Kortie IE 1-0 in female soccer.
