George Gebro has been declared unfit for Sunday’s encounter against
Senegal.
Lone Star head coach Antoine Hey told Star Radio the player picked up
an injury during the Algeria game.
Coach Hey also announced that Dioh Williams and Francis Grandpa Doe
would be an integral part of the team on Sunday.
The two were dropped from the team last week but the technical staff
prevailed on Coach Hey to recall them and German believes the players
have to prove a point on Sunday.
Greece based Solomon Grimes is set to start the match as well as
Romania based Ben Teekloh.
Dulee Johnson is back in the country and could likely sit on the
bench.
The Lone Star may likely start with a 4-3-3 formation with James Koko
Lomell, Dioh Williams and Francis Grandpa Doe playing up front.
The midfield could be built around Oliver Makor, Ben Teekloh and local
lad Theo Weeks.
Solomon Grimes, Murphy Nagbe, Jimmy Dixon and James Zotiah are the
defensive four.
Esiah Benson will miss the game due to suspension.
Liberia has managed only a point from two games in the qualifying
round.
A win against the Senegalese on Sunday will put Liberia in contention
for a place in the second qualifying round of the soccer showpiece.
