Lone Star 4 Game Set

Four European Clubs Chase Doeplah

The 18 year old prodigy Patrick Doeplah seems to be raising his game in Ghana since refusing to sign a deal with elite club Asanti kotoko with news of four reputable European clubs in the hunt for the budding star.

According to reports, Italian side Piacenza, FC Saturn of Russia and AS Nancy, FC Sion of France and Switzerland are in th chase for the gifted teenager for a possible midseason transfer.

Sources close to the player say Piacenza and AS Nancy are closer than the other two clubs after their scouts who are on a West African tour succumbed to the player's fabulous talent after seeing him in a friendly involving an All Star side which he led against Ghanaian side Feyenoord.

The match which ended 2-2 was watched by the Italian and French club scouts who were greatly impressed with the kid's deft touches, artillery shots and sublime skills.

The other two clubs FC Saturn and FC Sion do not have agents or scouts in Africa at the moment though, but, they managed to get in touch with the player through his agent Thomas Maloon MCclean who was said to have been approached on his player's possible move to those countries by an ex-Ghanaian international who is in love with the player's artistry.

If all goes well, the youngster would be leaving for Europe very soon for trials, but which of the four clubs is still not yet known.
