Reports reaching LiberianSoccer.com say one of the players invited
for the weekend’s qualifier will not be available for the game.
Reports from the national team camp say United States based defender
Willis Forko will miss the match.
The Administrative Manager of the Lone Star confirmed the absence of
Willis Forko.
Mr. Benedict Wreh said the technical staff of the Lone Star was
informed that Forko sustained an injury while playing for his major
league club.
Forko plays for Real Salt Lake in the Major league Soccer.
Mr.Wreh also disclosed the two of the players invited would be in
the country on Friday.
He said Dioh Williams who plays of BK Hacken in Sweden and Indonesia
based Esiah Benson would arrive on the same flight.
McColm Kona Cephas arrived the country Wednesday evening.
Mr.Wreh said the three players would add to the number already in
the country for Sunday’s match against Equatorial Guinea.
