Forko out of Lone Star squad

Written by Horatio Bobby Willie

Reports reaching LiberianSoccer.com say one of the players invited for the weekend’s qualifier will not be available for the game.

Reports from the national team camp say United States based defender Willis Forko will miss the match.

The Administrative Manager of the Lone Star confirmed the absence of Willis Forko.

Mr. Benedict Wreh said the technical staff of the Lone Star was informed that Forko sustained an injury while playing for his major league club.

Forko plays for Real Salt Lake in the Major league Soccer.

Mr.Wreh also disclosed the two of the players invited would be in the country on Friday.

He said Dioh Williams who plays of BK Hacken in Sweden and Indonesia based Esiah Benson would arrive on the same flight.

McColm Kona Cephas arrived the country Wednesday evening.

Mr.Wreh said the three players would add to the number already in the country for Sunday’s match against Equatorial Guinea.
