Authorities of LFA Knockout Champions Barrack Young Controllers have
disclosed that three foreign clubs have expressed interest in three of
their players.
The interest in the players come days after the club displayed an
extraordinary performance in the just held African International Youth
Tournament in Freetown, Sierra Leone.
BYC defeated Bodo/Glimt of Norway, Cruzero of Brazil, and Liberty
Professionals of Ghana to capture their first ever international
trophy on their debut appearance.
Their President Sekou Konneh named the clubs as the Port Authority and
Kallon FC of Sierra Leone and the Pepsi Academy of Nigeria.
He said both the Port Authotrity and FC Kallon of Sierra Leone have
expressed intertest in forward Andrew Swarary and defender Alpha
James, while the Pepsi Academy have got their eyes set on defender
Jusufu Hargraves.
Mr. Konneh said discussions with authorities of the clubs were
preliminary and said modalities were being worked out to concretize
them.
The BYC President said he was looking forward to having a successful
deal.
Mr. Sekou Konneh said the completion of the agreements would give the
players a clear chance to showcase their talients on the bigger stage.
