Besides
the amusement associated with football, this game brings to bear a
unique philosophy that offers hopes.
We at
Liberiansoccer.com join millions of fans in sharing this great
sentiment that indeed football is a way of life and the thrills it
generates are indeed beyond measure.
This game,
which attracts millions of people regardless of status is simply not
kicking the object and getting pay. The warmth and responsive
exchanges that take place among players of diverse backgrounds and
the excitements that follow are what matters.
Meanness,
greed and self-centered people don’t play football because these
characters are equivalent to indiscipline and there is nothing as
non-cooperation in football.
Liberia’s
football hopes
Though
football must be separated from state politics, Liberian football
fans suppose that the new political treaty in their country is a
right way of reshaping their game.
Hopes! An
indeed hope because Liberia has always stuck to the game as a way of
encircling this philosophy that continues to penetrate inflexible
walls.
Arguably,
thousands of Liberian football fans argue that their team would have
qualified for Tunisia '2004 had the country not seen war or
repulsive indiscipline during the latter part of the qualifiers.
But be as it
may, re-thinking the best, and allowing gentleness to supersede
self-righteousness would re-shape Liberia's football and thus
strength the hopes of those playing the game.
Youth dreams
A naturally
deprived country forced to embrace 14 years of wars that have
withered the entire nation, most Liberian youth knows no other sport
apart from football.
In this
another beginning, these young people will expect much more, and
must be given the energy to reap their full potentials.
George Weah,
however, gave Liberia’s youths a lasting impression of how football
is able to transform the live of an individual, his family, and of
course, his friends.
This lifelong
impression and subsequent by the effects the wars have on the
youths, football has become the resort of the strong-minded few.
Weah who as
has always promised the best for Liberia's football will have to set
his priorities as the crow flies because his contribution to
Liberia’s football is nostalgia.
Last word
Personally,
Liberian players would be able to exploit into Europe and other
places at rapid speed if they are willing to surrender selfishness
and meanness.
It may not be
a proper way of getting around it, and the local football authority
might be defective, but the players themselves add to the woes.
Uniqueness and
football are one, they are the same, and therefore its participants
must be unique. How many Liberian players have managers - FIFA
Agents and what is the average year a Liberian player have played
professional football apart from Weah.
Like Weah, the
custodian of nearly all Liberian players that have played in Europe,
how many of those beneficiaries have been able to push former
teammates.
