Janjay Innis Moves Back Switzerland

One of Liberia’s enterprising attacking
midfielders ,Janjay Innis, has moved back to Switzerland where he
previously played for Yverdon Sports.
In a brief chat with this yesterday, players
Inniswho is currently in the country to attend to some
family matters said, he had a brief spell in Dubai, UAE, where he
played for Al-Naser Sports Club for two months. “I could not stay a
longer time because I did not like the term of my contract so my
Manager told me to go back to base,” he disclosed.
On why he had to leave the Swiss league in the
first place to go to the UAE, he said after spending nine years in the
Swiss league he wanted a change of atmosphere as a footballer. When
quizzed why he did not go to any another European country, he said he
hade arlier opted to go to Spain, but his manager told him to wait he
would arrange something else.
Meanwhile, player Innis is expected to leave the
country early next week for Switzerland. He said his manager is
doing everything possible for him to secure a new contract.
The delightful player also stated that he visited
South Korea after he left UAE and stayed three weeks there. But he did
not seek a contract. When asked where has he been all this time,
he said he was in Abidjan for few weeks putting himself in shape in
readiness for his sojourn in the Swiss league again.
In a another development, player Innis has made
his services available once invited on the national football team, the
Lone Star. He said as a Liberianp layer playing abroad is it is duty
to serve his country once extended an invitation by the technical
staff.
Player Innis was one of those taken to
Switzerland by Liberia’s second sports ambassador, Jonathan Sogbie,
alias “Boye Charles”. He and another Liberia Josephus Yenay played for
Yverdon Sports in the Swiss league before joining different teams.
