Five players off to North Africa

Five Liberian players have left the country to tryout with various clubs in North Africa.

The five players left the country over the weekend and are heading for Tunisia, Morroco and Egypt.

The players are Andrew Dorley, Jimmy Taylue, Teku Nah, Chris Dukuly and Chris Wesseh.

The five are all registered players of local premiership club Gedi &Sons FC.

According to the President of the club, three of the five players will tryout with Tunisian club EGS Gafsa.

Mr. Patrick Garwo named Andrew Dorley, Jimmy Taylue and Teku Nah as the players who will justify with the Tunisian premiership club for the next couple of weeks.

Mr.Garwo said goalkeeper Chris Wesseh is in Egypt to tryout with high flying Zamalek SC.

He said striker Chris Dukuly has arrived in Morocco to justify with a premiership club.

Mr.Garwo hopes the players will be successful and go on to sign contracts with the various clubs.

Meanwhile Gedi &Sons FC has announced the signing of Mighty Barrolle Coach Christian Thompson popularly known as Christian Cole.

The club announced it has signed on the Christian Cole for the coming football season.

Gedi &Sons FC is hoping the former Mighty Barrolle Coach can turn around their fortunes after a dismal performance in the just ended football season.
