The female national basketball team of Liberia Lone Star got a
shocking entry into international competitions.
The female basketball national team lost all two matches to their
counterparts from Niger over the weekend at the Sports Commission on
Broad Street in Monrovia.
The match was the preliminaries of the African Women Championship for
Zone Three in Africa.
In the first match, Liberia went down 39-59 on Friday, April 8, while
the second match was also against the host Lone Star 74-63 on
Saturday, April 9.
The national team of Niger has now qualified to participate in the
finals that will be held in Nigeria. |
