The senior national team of Liberia Tuesday began its first combined training session at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium in Monrovia with 11 professional players in attendance and scores of fans on hand as well.

Hungarian Coach Bertalan Bicskei called 15 professionals for the duel on Sunday against Zimbabwe at the SKD Sport Complex in Paynesville. The rest of the recalled players are expected in today to join the combined session.

Francis Doe, Steve Mennoh, Gizi Dorbor and Dioh Williams are expected in today. Coach Bicskei has to live with the late arrival of the four players, three of whom are forwards.
Though Tuesday workout was rather a light, scores of football fanatical fans jammed the stadium to catch a glance of their ambassadors ahead of the Sunday encounter, the opener in the qualifiers of the Africa Nations cup. Sure, the momentum is building for the showdown.

The Zimbabweans with a provisional squad of 36 members are expected in Friday alone with scores of fans. The match commissioner, Abu Bakar Kaba, a Sierra Leonean comes in today; the referees from Benin, headed by renowned Koffi Codjia, will turn out tomorrow Thursday.
