Liberian International striker Frank Jean Seator
had a fabulous debut in the top flight of the Omani league where he
helped his new club, Al Orouba Sports Club escaped defeat against
another top flight side, Khaboura as the league kicked off on
September 12, 2009.
According to a newspaper of that country,
Khaboura took the lead in the 9th minute of the match, but
their defense worked overtime with pressure from the customer of the
net, Seator as the first half ended in Khaboura’s favor.
Back from recess, Frank Seator’s Al Orouba Sports
Club continued the pressured in an attempt to find the equalized.
With the match now in the closing moments with 15
minutes left, Seator used his skill, speed and strength to dribble
past three Khaboura defenders and was fouled in the dangerous area for
a penalty which was converted cleverly by Peter Mongoya of Zambia to
end the match 1-1.
After the match, Liberian striker Seator noted
that he was glad with such great debut where he showcased his talent
with his new club and secured a vital draw.
“I am glad we drew, but most especially I am
delighted my debut was marked by such fantastic displayed where I
created the goal that helped us escape defeat.
“I only want to continue such great form and hope
to score numerous goals to help my team Al Orouba Sports Club make
significant progress in the league and other championships as well,”
the well respected Liberian noted in a telephone conversation with
