FIFA Invites LFA Former President
-To Attend Confederation Cup Meeting

 (3/ 19/ 2004 Monrovia)-Despite his resignation as President of the Liberia Football Association (LFA), Edwin Snowe is still an asset to the World football governing body, FIFA.

The former LFA President has been invited to Zurich, Switzerland by the Federation of International
Football Association (FIFA) to attend the Confederation Cup Organizing Committee's meeting.

Mr. Snowe is a member of the FIFA Confederation Cup Organizing Committee. He is also an international Match Commissioner for the world football governing body, FIFA.

The former LFA boss is also a Confederation of African Football (CAF) match commissioner as well as member of a standing committee.

The former LFA boss resigned during the last LFA 29th Ordinary Congress of the LFA held in Harbel, Margibi County in late February.

His immediate deputy, Cllr. S. Izetta Wesley, as Vice President for Administration was automatically
endorsed by the Congress to succeed Snowe.

Snowe has said he will still contribute to the development of football in Liberia in whatever way he
can as former Chief Executive of the Football House in Liberia.
