Liberian Indonesian based striker Eric Weeks was on target for his
club over the weekend in the Superliga.
Eric Weeks scored the consolation for his club Persiwa Wamena in their
disappointing 6-1 demolition to PKT Bongang.
The goal was the young enterprising midfielder eighth of the season.
According to Wamena’s official website the forward got the lone goal
in the 54th minute from a wonderful effort.
The result drops Persiwa Wamena to the 8th spot with 17 points.
The club side of Liberia’s John Takpor Sonkaliey Persebaya Surabaya
came from a goal down to force Pelita Jaya to a 2 all draw also over
the weekend.
Persebaya website reports although the player did not register his
name on the score sheet he was very impressive during the outing.
