Dulee Johnson's AIK Solna took a giant step toward securing the
Swedish premiership title on Sunday
They did so with a 1-0 win over relegated-bound BK Hacken in
Stockholm.
AIK now leads with 36 points with eight rounds remaining. Second
placed Elfsborg has 33 points. The narrow scoreline told a different
story because the match was entirely dominated by Dulee and his
teammates.
Statisticians recorded a 65-35-ball possession percentage for AIK.As
usual Dulee was a commending presence in AIK middle directing the
flow of play. Named the premiership's best player in August the
Liberian international was on top of his game making the defense
splitting passes that have become his trademark.
Hacken, Dulee's former club, need to up its performance or the club,
which features Liberian internationals Dioh Williams and Jimmy
Dixon, could be playing in the lower division next season.
Dixon did not feature in Sunday's match as he was suspended while
Williams played the last 15 minutes
