Tuesday, 28 November 2006

A striker of newly promoted premiership club Gedi &Sons has completed a deal in the Ivory Coast.

According to a dispatch from Abidjian, striker Andrew Dolley on Monday signed a two-year contract with a premiership club in the West African state.

Dolley has joined ranks with leading club Stade d’Abidjian.
The Liberian striker signed the contract after he impressed coaches and officials of the Ivorian club during tryout matches last week.

The president of the club who witnessed the signing ceremony said the deal was attractive and in the best interest of the player.

Mr. Patrick Garwo said his club Gedi &Sons hope to reap some benefits from the deal.

Andrew Dolley brings to seven the number of players form Gedi &Sons that have joined Ivorian clubs in less than a month.
