Doe Spearheads Blue Angels' Campaign

Monrovia  May 19, 2004-The Mighty Blue Angels is this season around going to qualify for the first division. Club president Thomas Nyan has assured.

The first non premier team to have won the knockout title, Mighty Blue Angels has played six matches and acquired 16 points. The team sits at the top of the second division.

The team's splendid performance shouldn't be shocking because it is known for playing good soccer and possesses talented players like the evergreen Jerry Jimmy.

However, Mr. Nyan attributed the team's success to the huge assistance its Board Chairman Jackson E. Doe has been giving.

According to him, the Harbel-based second division outfit was down and Honorable Doe, who is the Minister of State for Presidential Affairs, went to its rescue.

Mr. Nyan said among Honorable Doe's huge contributions include 12 pairs of boots that the team is using now.   "Honorable Doe promised to meet the rest of the Board members to plan how to take Mighty Blue Angels to higher heights," Mr. Nyan indicated.

"He also promised to make sure that Mighty Blue Angels come at the top of the league," Mr. Nyan added.   Nyan described Honorable Doe as a "true lover of the game" unlike others who do so for political gain.

"We will not let him down because he allows me in his office to discuss Mighty Blue Angels' matters," Nyan stated.

The Mighty Blue Angels boss noted that the team's major goal this season is to clinch the division two's first spot and win the knockout title for the second time.
