Displaced Lofa Players Beg For Exposure

By Julu M. Johnson, Jr.

Displaced Lofa players in Bong County have called on the President of the Promoters of Liberian Athletes (PROLA) to expose his compatriots.

On behalf of the players, the Technical Committee Chairman of the Lofa IDP Sports Association in Bong County D. Gayflor Kpadeh appealed that Mr. Farkollie, a prominent Lofan, involve displaced players of the County when it comes to the National County Meet.

Mr. Kpadeh said the last County Meet, which saw Lofa going to the final through Mr. Farkollie's support, did not please the displaced Lofans.

"We are fed up with players being recruited from Monrovia," Mr. Kpadeh cried.

He cited that the time has reached for the image of players from Lofa to be promoted.
He begged Mr. Farkollie to give the players footballs, boots and jerseys.

Mr. Kpadeh said 22 players have been selected following series of tournaments in the IDP camp. "We want to keep the children going by playing everyday." He said there should be competitions every now and then.
