Disappointment
For Barrolle!

Mighty Barrolle’s hope of moving closer to the
top of the Liberia Football Association (LFA) premiership was marked
by disappointment when the Garmondeh Karnga’s boys forced newly
promoted LFA premier outfit, Adorence FC to a 2-2 draw at the Nancy
Doe Stadium in Kakata, Margibi County in continuation of the LFA
premiership.
The kids drew first blood in the first half and
later increased the score line in the second half, but could not
withstand the kayan pepper as burly striker Weika Wisseh and
resourceful midfielder and Vice Captain Little Lewis restored the
red and white outfit’s hope.
Reports say Mighty Barrolle former goalkeeper
Leumel Sherman, whose son, Kpah Sherman is a striker of Barrolle
and Mr. Karnga, Barrolle’s President were involved in war of words
as reports have it that Mr. Sherman has taken over Adorence FC as
president and was keen to see Mighty Barrolle downfall since
authorities have refused to make him president.
All efforts to contact Mr. Sherman via his
mobile failed up to press time.
Meanwhile, in other matches played in the LFA
premiership, it seems lackluster LFA defending champions; Black Star
is gradually getting on course after the team secured her biggest
win of the season with a 5-0 thrashing of unimpressive United Soccer
Ambassador Football Club (USA FC) at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium (ATS)
in Monrovia.
At the Unification town pitch in Margibi
County, NPA Anchors and UMC Roots settled to a goalless draw.
The league continues Saturday and Sunday, May 23 and 24 with more
matches.
