After escaping relegation by a point, Barrolle’s David Nimely has finally resigned as head coach of the team ahead of its preparation for the next league season.

According to information gathered from the Mighty Barrolle Sports Association, early this week Coach Nimely sent in a communication stating his resignation as head coach of the club’s football team.

According to the communication, Coach Nimely identified two major reasons for his resignation as head coach.

One of the reasons was according to him, due to family pressure. Though the BSA did not say what family pressure Coach Nimely was referring to, it appears like he was not receiving his benefits as head coach from the BSA.

Another reason for which Mighty Barolle Sports Association said Coach Nimely resigned was unforeseen circumstances, but he did not explain in details. At the same time, Coach Nimely has been seriously complaining about the BSA’s complacency as regards the settlement of his salary and benefits as head coach.

Coach Nimely said, for over six-seven months now, he has not received any salary from the Mighty Barrolle Sports Association, something that was seriously hampering his domestic life.

Coach Nimely expressed that he has a family and in the absence of his salary and other benefits, he will not be able to ably cater to his family.

Even though he has resigned as head coach of the Mighty Barrolle football team, Coach Nimely still remains a member of the BSA.

Meanwhile, the Mighty Barrolle Sports Association is still scrutinizing the application of the 6 coaches that have already applied to take the team through the next league season.

The Association said, right now, they are looking at the names and achievements. They said, though most of the applicants are good coaches, they will require someone that can handle both the technical and the practical aspects of the club.

The BSA admonished its fans to be patient because the process will require some time.
