propels Dordrecht to victory

Written by Horatio Bobby Willie
Liberian born Dutch teenager Manu Dagher has propelled his club to
an important win in Holland’s 2nd division championship.
Dagher scored a crucial goal that saw his club FC Dordrecht come
from a goal down to beat Venlose Voetbal Vereniging (VVV) 3-1 in a
league game last weekend.
The Liberian scored the equalizer in the 75th minute after his side
conceded a goal in the 74th minute.
Dagher’s strike was followed by goals from his teammates Ven der
Velden and Muhamadu.
The two scored in the 80th and 89th minutes respectively.
The win has taken Dordrecht to the third place on the table with 55
points.
It also puts FC Dordrecht in the position for qualification for the
top flight of the Dutch League.
However, the club will have to keep up its impressive form to remain
in contention for promotion.
Dagher a second choice striker now has six goals to his credit so
far this season.
