DITIRIO Threatens To End Sponsorship Deal

The Chief Executive Officer of DITIRIO-Liberia office has threatened to withdraw from the sponsorship deal his organization signed with the Liberia Football Association.

Mr. Steve Davis claimed the LFA was giving his group negative publicity even though it was the keeping its side of the agreement.

Mr. Davies also claimed that efforts by his organization to develop the game have been politicized.

He stated it was frustrating to work with individuals whom he described as not in the interest of football.

Mr. Davis told Star Radio that his organization was planning to change its focus.

He disclosed they would shortly get involve with schools and local community teams.

The DITIRIO CEO said at no point did the LFA or its media Committee put forward any proposal for assistance.
