Crayton gets another clean sheet

Liberian International goal keeper Lewis Crayton has made his home debut for his new club in the United States Major Soccer League on an impressive note.

The 30 –year old goal backer was part DC United 3-0 humiliation over their rivals Colorado Rapids on Saturday evening at the RFK Stadium.

Crayton made a total of four brilliant saves and kept his side off the score sheet.

The game got off to a promising start as both teams traded half-chances in the opening minutes.

Joe Vide announced his presence on the pitch after netting in his first goal of the season shortly before halftime.

Santino Quaranta scored his side second goal in the 82 minute.United got their third of the day five minutes later through substitute Quavas Kirk when he punched in a rebounded shot and placed the ball under helpless goal keeper Burpo to close out the game.

The win has taken DC United to the fourth place on the MSL Table after 21 games with 31 points.

Liberia’s Francis Grandpa Doe another DC United player is nursing an injury.
