Confusion Erupts Over The Campaign Site of The Lone Star

George Weah Lone Star Used to Stay at the Kings Lodge

by Horatio Bobby Willie

Confusion has erupted among football officials over the venue for the camp of the national team.

Executives of the Liberia Football Association agreed for the team to be camped at the Thinker’s Village on Robertsfield Highway but reports say the team is now camped at a local resort around the Gardnerville area.

LFA Vice President for Administration confirmed the confusion and said all would be done to settle the matter.

Mr.Pennoh Bestman said the group did not sanction the team camping at the Adolphus Lodge.

He said the Sports Ministry gave an approval and provided a check for the Lone Star to camp at the Thinker’s Village.

Mr.Bestman explained that the situation was dangerous and hoped that the Sports Ministry would avoid overtaking the managerial role of the Liberia Football Association.
