Ladies  Gentlemen! Let us Congratulate the Present Administration of The Mighty Barrolle Sports Association (BSA) in Liberia led by President Garmondeh Karnga for leading The ROLLERS, THE RED & WHITE BOYS, THE KANYAN PEPPER BOYS, THE GBEHZOHN BOYS; to be the undisputed CHAMPIONS of LIBERIAN SOCCER for 2009!

In spite of all the financial constraints faced by the BSA Administration, including delayed in players receiving little stipends called 'salaries', players leaving the country in the middle of the league to seek greener pastures in Asia, Europe and Africa; players being lured into joining top financially potent clubs like LPRC OILERS, NPA ANCHORS, ALLIANCE FC and many others; the BSA Administration was able to stand the test of time to put in to place all meager resources at their disposal to ensure that the players were motivated to sacrifice for the club in attaining this big success!

One of the big reason that Barrolle captured the LFA Soccer Shield this year was due to the farsightedness of the former Mighty Barrolle Trenton, New Jersey - USA - Chapter President, the Honorable D. Zeogar Wilson (One time Captain and Goalkeeper of Barrolle). Zeogar Wilson launched 'OPERATION ADOPT A PLAYER' where each chapter member of Barrolle in Trenton and other parts of the USA contributed $20.00(USD) monthly to pay players of Barrolle in Liberia.

The more money received were shared to also pay the Technical Staff including Coaches. As the project gained momentum and money increased; help was extended to the Male Basketball Team of Barrolle also. Each year the Trenton Chapter organized and hosted the July 26 Annual Barrolle versus Invisible Eleven (IE) Soccer game; proceeds generated were used by Mr. Wilson and the Trenton Chapter to purchased uniforms and other equipments for the Barrolle Teams in Liberia. Players receiving 'salaries' including other staff of Barrolle in Liberia are made to signed for these monies personally and the copies of their signatures attesting that they did received payments sent to the Trenton Chapter and all those involved in support of the 'OPERATION ADOPT A PLAYER'.

This is how Barrolle was able to achieved this feat Ladies and Gentlemen!

Now, Barrolle by virtue of becoming National Soccer League Champions of Liberia is automatically qualified to participate in the Prestigious African Club Champions League scheduled to commenced in early February 2010! Barrolle needs about $5000.00 (USD) to register for the tournament. The deadline is December 31, 2009. If Barrolle fails to register she will be disqualified from participating in this tournament by The Confederation of African Football (CAF) and also penalized with a hefty fine by CAF. If that happens, players will become very frustrated and perhaps leave to join other clubs or seek greener pastures somewhere else most likely the low rated Asian leagues for little or nothing.... On the flip side, if Barrolle is registered on time and participates; her players have the golden opportunity of exhibiting their hidden talents to most likely be scouted to ply their trade in the top European Soccer Leagues. It is at these CAF Tournaments that European Soccer Scouts African Players to play for Top European Clubs. Then what is the benefit that Barrolle gets from all this? The huge TRANSFER FEES and other support such as sporting equipments,etc.. Also, the farther that Barrolle progresses in the CAF Tournament, she also gets some financial incentives from CAF.
We in the Diaspora are then opportune to watch some of our own brothers we supported through 'OPERATION ADOPT A PLAYER' played in the European Soccer League, call them up and invite them in our states to play fund raising Charity soccer games to support community related projects here and back home.

Now, if we are really serious and want to help develop Liberian Soccer from where we sit; let us join hands with D. Zeogar Wilson, The Trenton, NJ - USA Chapter and the Garmondeh Karnga led Mighty Barrolle Administration in Liberia by raising at least $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 (USD) beginning now to ensure that Barrolle registers for the CAF Tournament on time, players are camped on time and prepared adequately, tickets to travel for their away matches are purchased timely, perdiems to motivate and encouraged the players and Coaches are available, etc...

We can do this or achieve this if every Liberian who are interested in seen sports especially Soccer develops in Liberia begins to contribute today this FUND-DRIVE. $20, 25, 30, 35, 50, 75, 100 (USD) will go a long way in realizing I that I have mentioned supra.

Let us start immediately! I am starting today with an initial contribution of $50.00 (FIFTY-DOLLARS) USD to be sent or deposited into the TRENTON CHAPTER ACCOUNT. This amount will be remitted by me first thing Tuesday morning October 27th!

You can contact D. Zeogar Wilson for the BANK INFORMATION and other details at zeogarw@yahoo.com  or (215)-499-4522.
