Bravo BYC!

Liberian club Barrack Young Controller (BYC) has won the maiden
edition of the African International Youth Tournament.
BYC defeated Ghana’s Liberty Professionals 1-0 in the grand final on
Saturday evening to lift their first international trophy.
According to reports, the LFA Knockout Champions secured the vital win
from a penalty kick in the second half of the game.
The reports further say Striker Samuel Thompson was fouled in the box
before his teammate James Powell stepped-up to seal the victory in the
80th minute.
Players of BYC were also awarded for their individual exploits during
the competition played in the Sierra Leonean capital, Freetown.
Andrew Swaray won the golden boots award after scoring three goals in
the competition, while goalkeeper Mulbah Urey won the best goalkeeper
award.
Players and Officials of Barrack Young Controller went into frenzy and
had a night long celebration in Freetown.
The African International Youth Tournament was organized by FC
Johansen of Sierra Leone and bough together about eight teams from
around the world.
