Boye Cooper To Be Buried Saturday

     The remains of the late Liberian former international goal tender  Boye Cooper is expected to be interred on Saturday, July 24.

      According to very credible sources, the late Boye Cooper, who was popularly known as Dino Zoff as a result of his splendid saves in goal, will be removed from the St. Moses Funeral Palace in Gardnersville on Friday, July 23.

     It was disclosed that the body of Boye Cooper would then be taken to the Antoinette Tubman Stadium (ATS) for a whole night wake keeping.

     It was at the ATS that former save hands made name for himself, clubs and country.

     The wake keeping is slated to attract family members, closed associates, soccer veterans, technicians, coaches, players as well as officials of the Youth and Sports Ministry and the Liberia Football Association (LFA).

     On Saturday, the body of the former Lone Star, Mighty Barrolle and Invincible Eleven (IE) goalkeeper will be taken to a Church that was not named but is said to be situated on Crown Hill, Broad Street.

      Thereafter, the late Boye Cooper would be carried to his final resting place at the Congo Town cemetery for burial.

       The body of the late Boye Cooper has been in Monrovia since it reached the capital from Nigeria on Sunday, July 4, 2004.
