Bomi County has captured the football component of this year’s
National County meet.
Bomi did so after whipping River Gee County 5-2 on Sunday evening at
the Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports Complex.
Seh Johnson bagged a hat trick for the Tubmanburg City Boys after
putting up a brilliant and eye catching performance. John Sumo and
Prince Payne added the rest of the goals for the new Champions.
McCarthy De-great and John Dance were the scorers for Rivergee
County.
Seh Johnson is those who helped Bomi achieve the feat.
Earlier at the SKD Sports Complex, Bong County defeated Lofa county
2-1 to lift the third place title.
In Kickball, Rivercess pained Nimba county 8 to 7 home runs to lift
the trophy for the third year running.
Grand Cape Mount County had earlier dragged Montserrado 9 to 3 home
runs to be crowned as third place champions.
