Black Star eliminated

Liberia’s representative to this year’s Confederation Cup competition has been eliminated.

Black Star FC was booted out of the competition Sunday after going down 3-0 to Guinea’s Satellite FC in Conakry.

Satellite scored two times in the first half and got the match winner late in the second half.

Reports from Guinea say poor finishing caused Black Star dearly during the game.

Satellite FC advances to the next round of the Confederation Cup with a three –zero goal aggregate.

The first leg in Monrovia finished 0-0 two weeks ago
