Black Meteors scare Liberia- includes Charles Taylor

The Ghanaian U-23 team, the Black Meteors, has included dreadful Charles Taylor and moves to camp this weekend ahead of their 2004 Olympic Qualifiers against Liberia in June this year.

German Coach Burkhard Ziese amassing particles in his second stint with the Ghanaian teams has endorsed that the team be camped in Tema, a coastal suburb exterior of Accra.

Among those named to the U-23 team selected for camp this weekend are Charles Taylor and Daniel Coleman (Hearts of Oak), Joe Tagoe (Great Olympics), Issah Ahmed (Asante Kotoko), William Tiero, Emmanuel Pappoe, Asomoah Gyan (Liberty Professional), Yakubu Shaibu, Isaac Amoako (Goldfields) and Alex Agyepong (Stay Cool Professional)

Other players included in the selection are Indian-based professional Yusif Yakubu, Aminu Fuseni, Laud Asare Abdul Rahim, Ahmed Ampim Baruso (Nania FC), Eric Duodu and Tawiah (King Faisal).

The Ghanaians who are fraught of repossessing their ripped apart rank on the African stage want to qualify for the 2004 Olympic at all charge and sight their Liberian opponents as hard-hitting contenders.

And with the assortment of a quintet set players well eminent in Ghanaian football, Coach Burkhard Ziese demure capitulation to include Charles Taylor after persistent disregard on the part of the player is a point to consider.
